Day 1: Arrival around noon at Ljubljana airport and transfer with minibuses but the start of the walk in Tržič. Via a short but strenuous walk of about 6 km, where we will start with normal shoes, we end at the hut on snowshoes. We sleep in multi-person dormitories, no shower available. +550 vertical meters, 2 – 3 hours walking through steep wooded terrain, Day 2: After breakfast we enter a real winter wonderland. We continue to practice with the snowshoes, which may still feel a bit uncomfortable. The view is beautiful, of the Julian Alps and the mountains of Kamnik-Savinja, but the terrain in front of us is not too technical. If the conditions and the legs are good, we can possibly climb Mt.Pršivec. We spend the night in the training center of the Slovenian mountain rescue service. +300 -500 vertical meters, 8.5 km hilly terrain Day 3: Today we walk via a beautiful forest path to the old glacier valley of Jezersko. Arriving at the col before the valley, a breathtaking panorama of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps unfolds. After a short descent we arrive at our guest house. We stay overnight in double rooms with sanitary facilities. +200 – 500 altimeters, 10 km. Day 4: Departure day. Depending on the travel schedule, we take a leisurely walk, or take the van directly back to the airport.
